entry 2

To extend on my first entry, and the idea of photography as a mediator between fine and applied art, I have also been considering other media like video to combine these practices. I guess its about finding or combining the right amount for of either or all three is the most challenging aspect.
here is some stuff related I thought was cool

  1. That's so cool. I love how they use digital animation as an extension of the process through which they document interventions in real space, and all the room for fakery and trickery there is in that. Maybe it would be productive for you t start collaborating with other people in the program who you like. Documenting and reproducing other people's work in order to create an installation or book. Just a suggestion. I think the hardest thing can be finding a place to start, so any kind of collaboration has the potential to work as just an arbitrary starting place through which you can start combing media, to edit, manipulate or distort.
